Story
On Earth, Wakanda is a beacon of prosperity and a bastion of freedom. But across the expanse of space, thousands of lightyears away, lies another Wakanda. One that has grown to hold five galaxies in its iron grip. One that steals the memories of those it enslaves. One that has abandoned the values of its forebearers and seeks only the glory and power of empire.

There's not one thing I didn't love about the writing and the story. I own the original comic book series and this stays true to form with also giving a more detailed novel approach to the story. The pacing was good, the accents were on point and the flavor of culture was ever present in the most real and regal of ways. 10 out of 10. I can't wait for the next book.

Story
>"Lily?" My stomach dropped as a tall, dark-haired man stepped into view. Had he been hiding between the trees? "No. Sorry." Gulping, I took a step back. "I'm not Lily." He shook his head, a satisfied grin on his face. "No. You are Lily." "I'm Summer. You have the wrong person." For months, Summer is trapped in a cellar with the man who took her - and three other girls: Rose, Poppy, and Violet. His perfect, pure flowers. His family. But flowers can't survive long cut off from the sun, and time is running out....

I loved the performance and the deep detailed insight of this book. Batman has always been a complex character through the many stories that have been written. This book gives a real world insight on Bruce Wayne, his allies and foes and their psychology. Definitely a good book.

This book was by far the best adaptation of Regginald Hudlins work. The voice acting is on point and the story is handled masterfully.

Story
A self-described orphan with parents, Bobby Hall began life as Sir Robert Bryson Hall II, the only child of an alcoholic, mentally ill mother on welfare and an absent, crack-addicted father. After enduring 17 years of abuse and neglect, Bobby ran away from home and - with nothing more than a discarded laptop and a ninth-grade education - he found his voice in the world of hip-hop and a new home in a place he never expected: the untamed and uncharted wilderness of the social media age. In the message boards and livestreams of this brave new world, Bobby became Logic.

Bobby Hall wrote this in a way a parent would tell their life story to their adult children. This book may trigger a lot of people who have gone through any form abuse in their lives. This is a story of a kid with a troubled past who grows up to be better than the sum of his circumstances. Overall it was a touching story that is truly human at its core.

The whole story was spot on and the sheer number of great performers was staggering. The pacing was steady and it wasn't overly wordy. The sound FX blended really well with the story and I didn't distract nor ditract form the story.

I listened to this entire book at work, and I have to say it was like an older brother talking to me about life. Love is older than the universe itself and common truly puts forth a transparent effort to show his relationship with the concept of love in every way possible. This book was amazing. To my fellow Chicagoan Common, Much respect.
