In his groundbreaking, seminal book, visionary leader and transformational teacher David Bayer offers a revolutionary approach to personal growth and spiritual evolution, taking complex concepts from the fields of behavioral psychology, neurophysiology, quantum field theory, and spiritual tradition and distilling them into a powerful, practical, integrative framework for reclaiming personal and emotional sovereignty and having what Bayer calls “a powerful living experience.”

I thought his podcast was amazing - this goes way beyond that!

I deeply internalized what I learned in the podcast and so much more. For example, understanding the context made the decision matrix much more effective. I just listened to it twice in a row and am about to start it for the 3rd time. It's THAT good!

Story
It is June in the Year of Our Lord 1143 when Elave, young clerk to William of Lythwood, returns from a pilgrimage to the Holy Land with his elderly master's body. His mission is twofold, to bury William in his home abbey of St. Peter and St. Paul, and to deliver a dowry to William's adopted daughter Fortunata. But Elave, suspected of harboring views inimical to church doctrine, is held for ecclesiastical trial. And when Aldwin, the Lythwood family clerk hired in Elave's absence, is stabbed to death, Elave is incarcerated not only for heresy, but for murder. Fortunata's dowry, an intricately carved box with mysterious contents, holds the key to the mysteries that spring up around Elave and the Lythwood family. Shrewd and patient, Brother Cadfael is at his best here. Performed by Tony Award-winning actor Derek Jacobi, this sixteenth chronicle of Brother Cadfael is sure to delight old friends and new fans.

I love all the Brother Cadfael stories!

This one seemed much shorter than others, but was still compelling. It took getting used to a new narrator after 15 books with the same one.

NLP is not what I tjought
Reviewed: 04-17-24
I absolutely loved this book and her methods. I don't know what I heard about NLP previously, but I had a very different idea of what it actually is. it reminds me of dramaturgical therapy to be honest. what I'd heard about NLP in the past made me think that it was a technique to manipulate other people. that's not what it is at all! it's about re-educating yourself to change your own patterns

I love that Cadfael is a monk/detective and it's based in the 12th century.
