Story
Lisey lost her husband, Scott, two years ago, after a 25-year marriage of profound and sometimes frightening intimacy. Scott was an award-winning, best-selling novelist and a very complicated man. Early in their relationship, before they married, Lisey knew there was a place Scott went - a place that both terrified and healed him, could eat him alive or give him the ideas he needed in order to live. Now it’s Lisey’s turn to face Scott’s demons, to go to that terrifying place known as Boo’ya Moon.

Dull story, great reading performance.

Had it not been for the narrator and her ability to paint a scene and characters with her voice, I wouldn’t have lasted ten minutes.
Having said that, for more than the most part his books are well crafted so throwing a bone once in awhile isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

Story
Bryan Cranston landed his first role at seven, when his father, a struggling actor and director, cast him in a United Way commercial. Soon Bryan was haunting the local movie theater, memorizing and reenacting favorite scenes with his older brother. Acting was clearly the boy's destiny - until one day his father disappeared. Suddenly destiny took a backseat to survival. Seeking something more stable, perhaps subconsciously trying to distance himself from his absent father, Cranston decided on a career in law enforcement.

Amazing! This is the one!

Well done Bryan! I read many autobiographies and this is one of the best. This was really heartfelt and yet also gave us a glimpse into the industry. Even without that, and even if you didn’t have the “star factor” inherently attached, It is absolutely “up there” in great quality. Thank you. I guess I will finally watch
Breaking Bad :) Best regards to you and yours.

Story
Leonard Cohen wrote the poems in Book of Longing - his first book of poetry in more than 20 years after 1984's Book of Mercy - during his five-year stay at a Zen monastery on Southern California's Mount Baldy, and in Los Angeles, Montreal, and Mumbai. This dazzling collection of poetry is timeless, meditative, and often darkly humorous.

You will love this collection. Read by the poets own voice, you can feel the nuance of each beautiful work.
This book is not to be missed.
You do not have to be a lover of poetry, or anything, to love this book.
It could be your first love- Hahahaha

David Spade is best known for his harsh "Hollywood Minute" sketches on SNL, his starring roles in movies like Tommy Boy and Joe Dirt, and his seven-year stint as Dennis Finch on the series Just Shoot Me. Now, with a wit as dry as the weather in his home state of Arizona, the "comic brat extraordinaire" delivers a memoir.

Great story but needs to be done again in his own tone. Feel like this was over simplified for production. Say it yourself David.

Story
With ribald humor, wit, and incredible insight, Alan seamlessly moves back and forth in time, integrating stories from his childhood in Scotland and his experiences today as the celebrated actor of film, television, and stage. At times suspenseful, at times deeply moving, but always incredibly brave and honest, Not My Father's Son is a powerful story of embracing the best aspects of the past and triumphantly pushing the darkness aside.

Yes, Alan, your father as source material is perfect, tormenting and horrific, but perfect for us all the same. Thank You!
