duet great - writing cringe

I keep coming back to Rina Kent thinking the writing will get better, but unfortunately not. Tried Rina Kent again after hearing such great things about the book and audio book. I guess i just don't like how she writes. There were certain descriptions and dialogue that was just so cheesy and cringe. it made it hard to enjoy the characters and voice actor performances.

how the author wrote tink was probably my favorite and how Maxine performed her was absolutely perfect.
