Story
Seventy-three years after the events of THE DEATH CURE, when Thomas and other immunes were sent to an island to survive the Flare-triggered apocalypse, their descendants have thrived. Sadina, Isaac, and Jackie all learned about the unkind history of the Gladers from The Book of Newt and tall tales from Old Man Frypan, but when a rusty old boat shows up one day with a woman bearing dark news of the mainland—everything changes.

Prequel to Hunger Games
Reviewed: 08-02-22
Great book, this is the first I've listen to in the series. For a beginner to the story I want to say this is the Prequel. I was a little confused, at first, having watched the movies. However I still enjoyed it.
Somethings a little off with bits of the audio, like they came back to correct a mispronounced word or something. Happens rarely though.

Follow Letty Davenport in her new career finding and stopping criminals.
Good listen, never a problem listening to Richard Ferrone. I'd say the story is bit of a reach for a first time for Letty but if this is what starts it I'm satisfied. Book goes 0 to 60 in the last bit and might be too harsh for sensitive listeners. For fans I'd suggest it's a must.

Story
.Lucas Davenport has seen many terrible murder scenes. This is one of the worst. In the small Minnesota town of Deephaven, an entire family has been killed - husband, wife, two daughters, dogs. There’s something about the scene that pokes at Lucas’s cop instincts - it looks an awful lot like the kind of scorched-earth retribution he’s seen in drug killings sometimes. But this is a seriously upscale town, and the husband was an executive vice president at a big bank. It just doesn’t seem to fit.

This one is a bit bloody so some readers may want to avoid. That said this is one of the best ones. Hunting down a Mexican gang hellbent on sending a message to all those who would apposed them.

Story
The prequel to the New York Times best-selling Maze Runner series. Before WICKED was formed, before the Glade was built, before Thomas entered the Maze, sun flares hit the Earth, and mankind fell to disease. Mark and Trina were there when it happened, and they survived. But surviving the sun flares was easy compared to what came next. Now a disease of rage and lunacy races across the eastern United States, and there's something suspicious about its origin. Worse yet, it's mutating, and all evidence suggests that it will bring humanity to its knees.

performance is awesome though, as is most audio books now a days.

But as Strike investigates, he discovers that Quine's disappearance is no coincidence. The novelist has just completed a manuscript featuring poisonous pen-portraits of almost everyone he knows. If the novel were published, it would ruin lives - meaning that almost everyone in his life would have motives to silence him.
