Story
The roles of faith, belief, and spirituality in Heroin Anonymous are covered, but mostly this audio book is about behavior motivating beliefs, like those of the cognitive model. The beliefs of using heroin addicts about their addiction, their life and heroin are what keeps them using. These beliefs are shaped by the addict’s mental obsession which excuses and justifies using at every turn. Obsessions of every kind function by excusing and justifying aberrant behavior.

Are you allergic to heroin?

If the answer to the previously stated question is a resounding yes then you need this in your library. There is a life for you outside of addiction and the way is laid out for you within these pages in addition to “The Big Book”s.
Do not do yourself the disservice by hesitating due to skepticism… this is not the religious intensity you’d expect. May peace find and keep you.
