I had heard the author on a podcast and was interested in her faith journey. She is knowledgeable and able to share her knowledge in an approachable manner. Excellent story with a lot of new information.

I appreciated the format of the book - taking a linear look at each truth and the individual impact of it upon society and the government.
The narrator mispronounced some words, overacted some sections and - in my opinion - the book would have been better served by having Vivek Ramaswamy narrate it himself. Ramaswamy did an excellent job narrating his first book but has used this gentleman to narrate the subsequent books. I believe Ramaswamy is the best representative of his vision.
The book was great. The narrator was fine. I think Ramaswamy would have been better but that doesn’t detract from the message of his work.

Listening to this story in the words of Mahtob is meaningful. I had read Betty Mahmoody’s book after the release of the film, however, I hadn’t heard that Mahtob shared her story. It was a different story but overlapped and corroborated her mother’s account. I had no idea the fear followed her from Iran and shadowed her life. So many unanswered questions, odd occurrences that are still unexplained. I pray that she is able to live freely.
One thing I hadn’t thought to conclude was that the movie was liner in its portrayal of her father. I hadn’t realized that was possible. Utterly tragic to have a person who you are supposed to love and trust be the villain of your life!

I was very interested in the background information on what was happening during the Reagan administration. I am very thankful he was there for that time. Our world would be so different without his steady focus and sense of purpose. Thank you, President Reagan. You were right.

As I noted in the title above, I thought this was a story that I already knew. I expected some new details but this story provided much more.
The Hiding Place was a moving story, however, it barely scratched the surface. I am glad to have heard this story and gained much better understanding and insight into what happened.
I truly wish those who use “nazi” and “Hitler” as convenient insults would stop and educate themselves about what happened in the Holocaust.

For Love of Country is well presented by the author. The service that Tulsi Gabbard has provided this country is not something that should be dismissed or twisted by another for political purposes.
I don’t agree with Ms. Gabbard on all her issues but I respect her opinion and value her experiences. I hope that she can continue to help our country move forward.

I truly enjoyed the conclusion of this story. The two MC narrators were perfect in their roles; however, performances with full casts add so much more to the whole. I just wish that all books with duet narration would perform like this. It’s so natural to have the narrator voice be the same no matter from which character’s perspective the story is being told. These top-notch performances raise the bar and it’s a bit harder to be happier with the others that are not doing that.
I have listened to other stories narrated by Teddy Hamilton and enjoyed his work. I believe this is the first time I have heard Shane East and he did an excellent job. The two sounded like they had good chemistry.

This just was not good at all, to me. Too much overlap of the little one lost and the current one. Really not for me. I definitely should have read otgers’ comments before buying and am trying to figure out how to return it.

I listened to this in the free month when trying the romance package. It was awful. I am a big fan of Outlander and thought it was a clever premise. However, I found myself wondering again and again how it could be possible that Ms. Dyer and I could possibly have read the same book. Thankfully, I saw other reviews so I didn’t purchase it outright. I so appreciate what the others have said. They are right. I forced myself to get to finish it but the heroine makes little sense, the narration is only okay and the storyline contradicts itself.
