Story
June Juanico was just 17 when she met Elvis Presley in 1955. As his first serious girlfriend, she was uniquely placed at a time when he was on the cusp of superstardom. This is her memoir of the summer of 1956, which they spent together, and an insight into the genesis of a star.

Great characters and storyline. My only complaint is the narrators false southern accent takes a little getting use to.

Story
Tesser, the dragon of life itself, is one of seven: Earth’s primordial draconic guardians, destined to oversee its development and safety. Species rose and fell, and 10,000 years ago...Tesser disappeared. The golden dragon woke up this morning, buried deep beneath the city of Boston, with no idea how he got there, and no idea how humanity grew so fast and learned so much while he was away. He is lost, a fish out of water. Where is the magic? He’s got a lot of catching up to do if he’s going to find his missing sister and stop an incursion of daemons from beyond the Veil.

Can't wait for book two!!

What made the experience of listening to Tesser: A Dragon Among Us the most enjoyable?
I was hooked before I finished the first chapter. This was a great introduction to Tesser the Dragon of Life and his world. I enjoyed the entire book. By the end of the book I felt as if I knew each of the characters.
Have you listened to any of James Foster’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes, he is one of my favorite narrators. As with everything else I've listened to that James Foster has narrated, I loved his performance!! He always brings life to the characters.
Any additional comments?
My sister first introduced me to Chris Philbrooks and Adrians Undead Diary and I've been a fan ever since. So far I can honestly say I have yet to listen to anything by Chris that I haven't loved. I can't wait for the second book in the series to come out in Audible!!
