Story
Arkos, a reclusive artisan, bides the long age of peace carving animal bones and remembering his days of adventure. In the ancient city of Tierrion where he dwells, no one suspects he is one of the legenders - those forces of nature clad in human form who spoke with the elements and shaped them into mighty beasts.

Engaging story that leave me wanting more

What other book might you compare The Legender to and why?
The Legender is shaping up to be a nicely written (and in the audio book's case, performed) fantasy series with a well-thought out history for the world and characters. It compares favorably with some other fantasy series from Robert Jordan and Terry Goodkind.
What about Scott Richard Ehredt’s performance did you like?
As an American, it took me a little bit to get used to the accent, but once I did, I thought the performance was wonderful and nuanced. I was able to pick out the characters by voice and inflection after a very short period of time.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It would be difficult to listen to 14 hours in one sitting, but I spend 2-1/2 - 3 hours a day in my car for a commute. It was a wonderful way to pass the time in traffic.
Any additional comments?
Really looking forward to the next installment.
