Story
When Eddie Brock becomes biologically linked to a bizarre alien symbiote, the two share a common goal. At first, they seek to squash their arch-foe Spider-Man. But after repeated attempts, Venom reaches an uneasy truce with the web-spinner. Brock leaves New York and heads west to San Francisco, the city of his birth, eager to put trouble behind him, but trouble has different ideas. Brock commits himself to becoming a defender of the innocent, but he's a six-foot-three-inch, 260 lb. figure with bulging muscles and fangs like a shark. Venom quickly draws attention.

Not well done

I felt like the pace of the reader was to slow. Story wise it could have been fine but the nearly constant way the writer had characters saying out loud what was happening got old within the first 5 minutes. I think of myself as a trooper for making it all the way through this book. It’s a shame because this is the first marvel audiobook I’ve listen to since graphic audio. Loved all of those productions but now I’m afraid of buying any new books and getting a stinker like this one.

Peacetime can be a rough adjustment for the battle-hardened Merry Band of Pirates.
Especially when aliens don’t get the memo that the shooting is over.

Best sci-fi series ever
Reviewed: 08-02-21
I’ve listened to tons of sci-fi books and series and this is by far my favorite. Compelling stories,Great characters ,the best voice in the business, and humor that makes me laugh out loud all come together for a perfect experience. The only bad thing is waiting for the next book in the series to drop.

Story
The elite crew of the pirate ship UNS Flying Dutchman had a simple mission: determining whether the Thuranin are sending another starship to Earth. Along the way, they became sidetracked by securing a future for the UNEF troops on the planet Paradise. When asked whether Earth was now safe, their ancient alien AI responded "Not so much"...now they have to deal with the consequences.
