Story
The day Shane boarded the plane for basic training, I was happy for him. He escaped a life we both despised. Then he was killed in action before I had the chance to tell him I loved him. Now I write letters he'll never read. Talk to a cold gravestone, heard only by the wind...and maybe that guy in a baseball cap I only glimpse before he disappears.

Troy Duran’s voice is so sexy and his acting is top notch. I have listened to 4,650 hours on Audible and of all of that, Free by Riley Edwards’s is by far my favorite. I’ve listened to it 3 times and plan to listen again. Super spicy!

Savage. Reckless. Wild. These are only some of the words used to describe me. I'm all of those things, and I never wished to be anything else in almost 500 years of existence. Then she came along. Aurora Leal, the daughter of the High Witch and destined for that role. She's practically royalty in the magical world, but most importantly, she's forbidden fruit.

I only gave four stars bc when the female narrator voiced the male protagonist, she made him sound like a young boy instead of a grown man. Other wise, it was enjoyable.

The narrator killed it
Reviewed: 01-01-25
It could have such an amazing book but the narration was awful. I stopped listening after an hour. I really tried to hang in there, but I couldn’t. The main female character was supposed to be young, but the narrator sounds like an old woman. Seriously, listen to the preview before purchasing this book.

Story
It’s 1984, and life has changed beyond recognition. Airstrip One, formerly known as Great Britain, is a place where Big Brother is always watching, and nobody can hide. Except, perhaps, for Winston Smith. Whilst working at the Ministry of Truth, rewriting history, he secretly dreams of freedom. And in a world where love and sex are forbidden, where it’s hard to distinguish between friend and foe, he meets Julia and O’Brien and vows to rebel.

The acting was shockingly good

I don’t think I would have ever chosen to read this book, but it was free and I thought, why not? I am so glad I did. The premise was eye opening, making you really think about what could be one day. While you can only think of things like this happening in the future, it was interesting to have it placed in the past. The acting was crazy good. When the main character is scared, his cries of terror are… deeply concerning. You feel it. I deeply recommend this read. Listen to it!

Story
A perfect storm led me to this place. Ghosted by my fiance, I was suddenly broke, heartbroken and facing eviction. Enter Mason Leo, the six feet and two inches of pure muscle and arrogance I've hated with a passion since the day we met. The man is cocky, womanizing, and ruinously gorgeous. Worse than that, he's my ex's brother. And for the next two weeks, he gets to do with me as he pleases. I'll explain. With both our exes - wait for it - set to marry each other in St. Lucia, I've agreed to let Mason pay my debts so long as I play his date.
