Helped me process my grief.

I recommend this book.
It helped me process the loss of my mother.
The way Joan describes grief touches the heart.
The way she describes the moments you spend with your loved ones in their final moments is cinematic. She describes the the bartering that the living make with the universe, the creator, and modern medicine so well.
