A Must Listen for the Grieving

Loved it!
Reviewed: 10-09-23
I lost my husband nearly 10 years ago. I struggle from time to time with my emotions and how I’m supposed to feel. This was a breath of fresh air! I’m so glad that someone else wants to talk about death in a way that seems “taboo”. We should be able to laugh and joke about the people we love always. Not put them in the ground to never be discussed again. Thank you for letting me know I’m not alone.

Story
Collected for the first time anywhere, the nine tales in The Egg and Other Stories highlight Andy Weir's trademark wit and unexpected twists. For the few who have yet to experience The Martian, it's a perfect appetizer. For passionate Weir fans, it's a delicious dessert.

A win!

I really enjoyed listening to all of these stories. They were short, wrapped up nicely and didn’t have ambiguous endings like some short stories I’ve listened to before.

Just ok

I had always heard The Lottery was very well done, so I had high expectations. I thoroughly enjoyed it and wished it was a full length novel! Unfortunately, I expected the rest of the stories to be on the same level and they weren’t. I found them to be boring after listening to The Lottery. Should have saved the best for last!
