I like the book I like the reading I like the characters, but myself personally, do not prefer such explicit sexual details. I understand some parts are necessary because of the, but I just feel it could be done in a classier way. But that is my personal opinion I do understand that, many people love that so you know more power to them and congratulations on her book for them, but personally for me, could do without 20 minutes of reading a sexual experience. Beyond that I enjoyed.

Story
Charlie Reade looks like a regular high school kid, great at baseball and football, a decent student. But he carries a heavy load. His mom was killed in a horrific accident when he was seven, and grief drove his dad to drink. Charlie learned how to take care of himself—and his dad. When Charlie is seventeen, he meets a dog named Radar and her aging master, Howard Bowditch, a recluse in a big house at the top of a big hill, with a locked shed in the backyard. Sometimes strange sounds emerge from that shed.

Addictive series.

I enjoyed this series completely. Some series about the third book or so you kind of get lost, or it loses its thrill or the story becomes like OK ..whatever…
But this series seems to be well written and kept me interested and enjoying them through all four books. 😁

Story
At 16, Mina's mother is dead, her magician father is vicious, and her silent heart has never beat with love for anyone—has never beat at all, in fact, but she'd always thought that fact normal. She never guessed that her father cut out her heart and replaced it with one of glass. When she moves to Whitespring Castle and sees its king for the first time, Mina forms a plan: win the king's heart with her beauty, become queen, and finally know love. The only catch is that she'll have to become a stepmother.

It’s worth a shot story was kind of slow or bounced around a bit maybe not sure but it didn’t take long and all the pieces start coming together and then you were just like Luke. Really good book if you like these types of books with fantasy and magic a little bit it’s a good one I highly recommend it.
