Story
Having survived a chance encounter with a demon lordling, and made an immense sacrifice, one might expect Joy to at least have some time to rest and recover. Instead, when Joy’s friends learn what she sacrificed, they decide they’ll repay her, no matter what it takes, and they take the adventurous bee-girl on a quest to find another apis hive which can help her. The demon lord, Alethus, isn’t resting on his laurels, however. His schemes threaten not just Seldrim, but the entire region, and his plots are squarely on a course to intersect with the unwitting group.

This book has many parts from villain's PoV that it doesn't need at all. Getting inside a villain's head honestly disgust me in general and I wish it was a less common thing in fantasy.
I Love all the other chapters though, so I'm a bit torn.

a 'nice' girl taken too far
Reviewed: 03-04-21
the story is decent if you can ignore how the MC is 'nice' to the point of letting things hurt her before she sees anything as a threat. She is clearly shown that there are people that are not willing to talk and only want to hurt her, yet she still blindly believes that she can make a friend with anything in a world that is clearly far more brutal than the one she came from.

overall decent story with major problems.
Reviewed: 09-19-20
The story and world building are interesting, but the amount of time that the author takes to describe atrocities can only be described as unnecessary and disturbing. Yeah, bad stuff happens during war, but you really don't need to take a large portion of the book describing it.

Story
This is the tale of Myr Sevii, a young woman who discovers a field that suppresses static electrical effects and warps space in a fashion that attracts protons. It's a hard science fiction exploration of what might happen if you were able to pull protons into a tiny volume and - having suppressed static repulsion - crush them together. The story examines how this new discovery affects Myr and will soon affect the world around her.

while they sorry and sci-fi are amazing and believable, there are absolutely disgusting aspects to this story that are not warned of anywhere that I could find so I'm leaving one.
WARRNING: If you do not enjoy listening to decent people be taken advantage of and brutally murdered in cold blood then stay away from this book.

writing a genius character can be hard sometimes, but this story does it the wrong way. Rather than think up cleaver things for the main character to figure out or think through, the author simply made everyone else in the world stupid. sure there is some explanation, but it is unbelievable that people would not observe simple things happening and see a connection eventually. Not using manure to fertilize?! That's incredibly stupid. Almost every time the main character dose something 'cleaver' or 'smart' I'm just left thinking how the hell did no-one ever think to do something similar...

Story
All that Tacca Gloom Lily ever wanted to be since she was very little was a fairy assistant to a Dungeon Core. After her negatively portentous birth, however, she was never fully accepted by her superstitious peers and instructors at the Dungeon Assistant Preparatory School; nevertheless, she persisted in her studies and graduated at the top of her class. Unfortunately for her, the “hands-on” training she was supposed to receive from a Mentor and his Bonded Dungeon Core didn’t go the way she would’ve hoped.

Decent book ruined by excessive lists
Reviewed: 05-02-20
the story is decently engaging, and the world building is interesting, but the excessively long lists of essentially start blocks that are mostly irrelevant absolutely ruin the pacing and my engagement with the actual story. Seriously, these stupid irrelevant stat readings comes off as desperate filler. Yeah, sure, it's a lit-rpg, but that doesn't mean that a large portion of the book has to be stat blocks.

Captivating world building and an interesting plot are held back by slightly stilted performance. Possibly could have used a bit more editing as one section is almost a copy paste of another and seems out of order.
