Story
In our collective quest to regain our personal power and strength, we often end up leaning on masculine displays of love, life, success, and power. Borrowing both their voice, energy, body postures, and life goals. Leaving us burnt out, unsatisfied, and still nowhere close to feeling and knowing our place in this world and beyond. In Lady Balls, Mina Irfan activates that long forgotten feminine knowing of both our innate savageness and divinity. Interweaved in both her art of storytelling and her sacred body of work.

There is so much knowledge in this book
Reviewed: 01-20-24
I have finally found the answers to the embodiment that I was seeking. I am an avid reader, there are only a handful of books I have read that are life-changing for the longterm. This book is one of them. If you are a woman and feel confused, stressed, frustrated or generally unhappy with your current life, listen to this book. The world we live in as women can be very confusing at times, this book helps provide a ton of clarity without the spiritual bypassing that is so commonly found today, but is only a temporary solution. The book is real, opens the mind, then Mina stays by your side to help process and support you through this very necessary inner work. I wish you the best, and hope this is your timeframe to find the soft empowerment you maybe seeking❤

Story
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

Some good insights, very "physical" world concepts
Reviewed: 09-29-21
There are some actual life changing concepts in this book. The presentation is a bit brash as the title indicates, so obviously, if the rough language bothers you, you may not enjoy the book. This book is all about the physical world, definitely not any spiritual or higher self concepts here. It is very "real" and in your face. I definitely learned some new ideas, however, it doesn't resonate with my outlook of life personally. It's not a book about being apathetic, although I found it to be a bit disconnected from the human connection concept. It was just ok for me.

Story
Stephen Mitchell, the renowned translator of the Tao Te Ching, selected excerpts from that ancient text as a stimulus for Byron Katie to talk about the most essential issues that face us all: life and death, good and evil, love, work, and fulfillment. The result is an audiobook that allows the timeless insights of the Tao Te Ching to resonate anew for us today, while offering a vivid and illuminating glimpse into the life of someone who lives what Lao-tzu wrote more than 2,500 years ago.

Story
The Bhagavad Gita is a gem so precious in India's spiritual treasury that many regard it not as a volume of sacred verse, but as a living manifestation of the Divine. In the summer of 1974, inside a balmy Boulder, Colorado, warehouse that served as a main hall of a fledgling Naropa Institute, some say a minor miracle occured: The reawakening of the Gita's living presence, as it unfolded in a series of wisdom teachings led by Ram Dass.
