Story
Empathic Flinx and his minidrag, Pip, have saved the universe more times than they can count, but the return of an old friend pulls the duo from their retirement and plunges them into a story of intrigue and imagination. The planet of Largess has recently opened itself to trade with the human-dominated Commonwealth. But when the daughter of a powerful chieftain goes missing, authorities believe a covert agent to be the cause. They need someone to track down the princess and roust the troublemaker and to do so without alerting the whole planet.

Hopefully not the last book in the Flinx and Pip
Reviewed: 03-21-25
I started reading Alan Dean Foster as a preteen. My first book was the Tar Aym Krang, and I loved it. Over the years, I read each of the adventures, hooked. I read most of Alan's creations. What makes them unique? His writings are joyous and wonderous, and his Commonwealth universe is unparalleled. Alan has written more stories that captivate the wonder of the unexplored. Except for the Alien universe, he keeps the universe mostly clean of apocalyptic optimism today. (Yes, oxymoron.) I spent the last six months entertained again. I hope Flinx and Pip do make a comeback.

Story
It caused instant addiction, followed by an excruciating slow death, and there was no known antidote. It was a killer. Supposedly the drug had been totally eradicated from the humanx galaxy years before. At least that's what everyone thought. But somehow, mysteriously, that dreadful substance was back in circulation on Repler and threatening to wreak havoc throughout the known galaxy.Someone somewhere was secretly manufacturing Bloodhype, but nobody seemed to know where or who!

Take the time to read or listen to this memoir; Ellen is fantastic. I can see her kicking someone’s @$$. I'm not sure I would ever want to see Zelda, but I still can see that alter ego. Ellen is fearless in putting this out in the world. She needs to be working on the Reflections of a Suburban Troublemaker.
