Hopefully not the last book in the Flinx and Pip

I started reading Alan Dean Foster as a preteen. My first book was the Tar Aym Krang, and I loved it. Over the years, I read each of the adventures, hooked. I read most of Alan's creations. What makes them unique? His writings are joyous and wonderous, and his Commonwealth universe is unparalleled. Alan has written more stories that captivate the wonder of the unexplored. Except for the Alien universe, he keeps the universe mostly clean of apocalyptic optimism today. (Yes, oxymoron.) I spent the last six months entertained again. I hope Flinx and Pip do make a comeback.

I read this book knowing when it was written. What I didn’t know is how factual in our current times it is facism is easy. I can see things happening, and hope it doesn’t. The dawn of the world will start in stupidity. Let’s hope Brian’s when.

Take the time to read or listen to this memoir; Ellen is fantastic. I can see her kicking someone’s @$$. I'm not sure I would ever want to see Zelda, but I still can see that alter ego. Ellen is fearless in putting this out in the world. She needs to be working on the Reflections of a Suburban Troublemaker.

I finished. The Chronicles of Amber is one of the best fantasy series from the mid-20th century. It consistently surprises me that it maintains a solid story, great characters, and great concepts.

By far, this series does hold up to the first series. Corwyn or Merlyn? Both keep my interest and are satisfying.
