Story
In July 2018, 12 boys and their football coach disappeared into Tham Luang Cave in Thailand. Trapped miles beneath the surface, not even the Thai Navy SEALs had the skills to bring them to safety. With the floodwater rising rapidly, time was running out. Any hope of survival rested on Rick Stanton, a retired Midlands firefighter with a living room full of homemade cave-diving equipment. In Aquanaut Rick reveals the real story of the cave rescue for the first time.

Absolutely Excellent!

Seldom is a book worth my time to write a review. This one is.
We all know the story of the kids rescued from the cave in Thailand but this story takes us beyond and into the past of the rescue team.
We learn how they gained the skill set that made such a rescue possible. We also learn details that were not reported by the media during the rescue.
This author had my attention from the beginning and did not disappoint providing details balanced with back story and well represented the struggle of balance between the parties that had responded to the emergency.
The persons that read the story were also excellent in delivery.
I will, after a period, return to listen to this story again.

Story
Looking at real estate isn’t usually a life-or-death situation, but an apartment open house becomes just that when a failed bank robber bursts in and takes a group of strangers hostage. The captives include a recently retired couple who relentlessly hunt down fixer-uppers to avoid the painful truth that they can’t fix their own marriage. There’s a wealthy bank director who has been too busy to care about anyone else and a young couple who are about to have their first child but can’t seem to agree on anything.

There isn't a book that I have enjoyed more than this one. Today is the first day I have ever given a review of a book.
I was equally pleased with the story and the performance of the voice actor. She did an excellent job bringing the story from the pages into my mind.
As the story began, I wouldn't have wanted to meet any of the characters in this book but soon the author captured my mind and each of these characters had become a friend of mine. This book I will listen to again.

This isn't the type of book that I would normally go for. However, I did enjoy the story line quite a bit. The author keeps you in suspense as to the purpose of the main character well until the end of the story.
The narrator is relatively new to book performing and I believe that she performed admirably. I believe that this narrator is on track to become one of the very good ones.

Story
Brian Johnson shares how the panic and anxiety of his early life - panic he’d thought he’d beaten - came back to haunt him. After experiencing debilitating anxiety attacks from the age of seven into his early adult years, Brian learned how worship ushered in the presence of God and pushed the panic away. But in the midst of his success, the ghost of his childhood anxiety returned, stronger than ever, and it pulled Brian into a downward spiral of chaos and darkness.
