Story
Jack Wade, a claims adjuster for California Fire and Life Mutual Insurance Company, is one of the best arson investigators around. He's a man who knows fire, who can read the traces it leaves behind like a roadmap. When he's called in to examine an unusual claim, the tracks of the fire tell him that something's wrong. So wrong that he violates his own cardinal rule - "You don't get personal, you don't get emotional. Whatever you do, you don't get involved" - and plunges into the case.

Good solid Winslow

I have been on a pretty serious Winslow kick lately after discovering him just in the last couple of months when his latest book city of Hope came out. I’m going to have to say that this story felt slightly contrived compared to everything else I’ve listen to by him so far. Don’t get me wrong, I still loved it, and couldn’t wait to keep listening, but some of it just felt a little forced.

Story AND performance 5 Stars!

I put off buying this because of the negative reviews on the narrator; once again I am reminded to not base my decision on negative reviews! The performance was near perfect IMHO. If you are a King fan, you’ll not be disappointed. The character development and plot are fantastic. Yes, King couldn’t resist throwing a few Trump-bombs in there but whatever, it’s certainly not a reason to enjoy this story. Keep them coming Steve!!

Story
The American supermarket is an everyday miracle. But what does it take to run one? What are the inner workings of product delivery and distribution? Who sets the price? And who suffers for the convenience and efficiency we’ve come to expect? In this rollicking exposé, author Benjamin Lorr pulls back the curtain on this highly secretive industry.

Kudos Ben. Truly amazing work. The insights into grocery and retail in general are deep and thorough. Every retailer should take heed.
