Story
The fight is over. The genocidal Crawlers are either dead or imprisoned, and the Singers in stasis are woken up. The three species must now learn to coexist, but prejudices and biases arise as they try to set up a government unlike any humanity has been a part of: one centered on kindness and mercy above all else.

Story
As the Empire reels from its critical defeats at the Battle of Endor, the Rebel Alliance—now a fledgling New Republic—presses its advantage by hunting down the enemy’s scattered forces before they can regroup and retaliate. But above the remote planet Akiva, an ominous show of the enemy’s strength is unfolding. Out on a lone reconnaissance mission, pilot Wedge Antilles watches Imperial Star Destroyers gather like birds of prey circling for a kill, but he’s taken captive before he can report back to the New Republic leaders.

Gay characters seemed forced
Reviewed: 09-28-15
The story and the characters were pretty good and it's worth seeing more where it goes. But the gay characters? I am not upset that there are gay characters, I'm just upset about how they were written in. It just seems super forced at the last reveal. If it hadn't been for that it would have made the writing better. Instead of just having gay characters to have gay characters. How it was written takes away from the story. Instead of being a star wars book it becomes some weird agenda. Bummer.

Great one
Reviewed: 08-07-15
This is one of the better Redwall books. It breaks from the traditional, puzzel being solved at redwall, while a hero goes on a quest way to young and co.es back a hero that Brian did for several others. Great book overall.
