This was a very fun read performed impeccably by Wil Wheaton. The pacing and lighthearted vibe reminds me of The Kaiju Preservation Society. I recommend it!

Story
Born to survivalists in the mountains of Idaho, Tara Westover was seventeen the first time she set foot in a classroom. Her family was so isolated from mainstream society that there was no one to ensure the children received an education, and no one to intervene when one of Tara’s older brothers became violent. When another brother got himself into college, Tara decided to try a new kind of life. Her quest for knowledge transformed her, taking her over oceans and across continents, to Harvard and to Cambridge University.

This book is a starting and thought provoking memoir. Well thought out and we’ll put together. I couldn’t wait for my daily commute to see what would happen next.
The narrator’s performance suited the book perfectly.

Story
Elsa is seven years old and different. Her grandmother is 77 years old and crazy, standing-on-the-balcony-firing-paintball-guns-at-men-who-want-to-talk-about-Jesus crazy. She is also Elsa's best and only friend. At night Elsa takes refuge in her grandmother's stories, in the Land of Almost-Awake and the Kingdom of Miamas, where everybody is different and nobody needs to be normal.

This was a wild and whimsical book with so much depth and so much to say.
I wish I could give the narrator 6/5. The narration was perfect and really brought the story to life.

If you could sum up How to Train Your Dragon in three words, what would they be?
I listen to this during car rides with my young son. The story is so fun and the narration is beyond perfect - makes car trips with a four year old (believe it or not) actually fun.
What does David Tennant bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
David Tennant's character voices, energy and excitement are infectious - I love what he brings to these stories as narrator.
