Story
The brutal, inexplicable death of Inspector Thomas Lynley's wife has left Scotland Yard shocked and searching for answers. Even more horrifying is that the trigger was apparently pulled by a 12-year-old boy. Who is he? Where did he come from? And what were the circumstances that led to his final act of desperation?

Interesting twists in the parallel storyline. What will happen next…? …as it seems like it’s setting the stage for something?

The closure I needed

This collection provided the conclusion I was craving after the end of the series, as well as filled a lot of the plot holes from the first book with Farley’s story. The last couple stories were my favorites, because like I said, they actually wrapped up the stories. Overall, I really recommend this if you like the series, it’s not like the usual pointless companion stories
