I loved this book like all the rest in the series. Sarah has written a wonderful series.
The most memorable moment for me is close to the end when David has to leave Cassie and Calum behind. He didn't want to leave them but they knew he had to. It shows how much he cares for his friends and family.
As always I think Laurel nailed the narrating perfectly.

Two years in Afghanistan; four years working for MI-5, the British security service; and the death of both of his parents from cancer. At the age of thirty-four, Callum thought he'd experienced the worst that life could throw at him. That is, until his boss ordered him to open a buried file on his desk and to take it seriously. His new assignment: to detain and question a pregnant woman and her ailing husband--and if need be, to stop them from returning to medieval Wales. Until today, Callum believed in his job and always followed orders.

Story
In December of 1282, English soldiers ambushed and murdered Llywelyn ap Gruffydd, the Prince of Wales. His death marked the end of Wales as an independent nation and the beginning of over seven hundred years under the English boot. Footsteps in Time is the story of what might have happened had Llywelyn lived. And what happens to the two teenagers who save him.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes I would. This was a well written and read story. I got just as involved as if I were reading myself maybe more so since the woman reading it uses accents I would attribute to these characters but do not use myself.
What other book might you compare Footsteps in Time: A Time Travel Fantasy to and why?
I am not sure I can compare this book to another because it is unique unless I compare it to others in the series. This is a well done story that I feel apart of whether reading or listening to it.
Have you listened to any of Laurel Schroeder’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
She is a wonderful performer and her voice is soothing to listen to. She does really well for this series whether reading as a man, woman, or child.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I think my favorite moment was when Bronwin realized that she actually was in 13th century Wales.
