Beloved Books, Wonderful Narration

My girls, 1 1/2 and 3, love these books! Now they can listen along if mommy or daddy is too busy to read. I originally chose the audio books for a road we were taking, but my girls love to listen to them even when we are just driving around town. My oldest also loves to listen to them when she is having quiet time in bed while sissy naps. I love the narration by Gwyneth Paltrow. She has such a lovely voice and we love the little character voices she does!

Story
What really happened in the Marabar caves? Adela Quested arrives in Chandrapore, India, prepared to marry a British magistrate who exemplifies the narrow-minded, anti-Indian projudices of the imperial bureaucracy. But she soon meets the charming and mercurial Dr. Aziz, who offers to show her the "real" India. An expedition to the famed Marabar caves ends in explosive accusations and a schism that foreshadows the eventual end of British rule in India.

Made this book a lot better!

Listening to this audiobook made getting through the book a lot easier. It even made the book more interesting. I had been trying to read it for a class and was having trouble getting through it. I was able to listen to it in no time. The reader even read at a decent pace so if you want you can follow along in the book. The reader does a very good job, although at first I thought that it was a little cheesey that he changed his voice for different characters, but then found that it made it a lot easier to follow the story line and the dialogue. I would recommend this audio book to anyone who has difficulty reading books for school and not just for pleasure.
