Story
In 1942 the US Army unleashed one of its greatest secret weapons in the battle to defeat Adolf Hitler: training nearly 2,000 German-born Jews in special interrogation techniques and making use of their mastery of the German language, history, and customs. Known as the Ritchie Boys, they were sent in small, elite teams to join every major combat unit in Europe, where they interrogated German POWs and gathered crucial intelligence that saved American lives and helped win the war.

Story
On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

Wow! A must read!

What a wonderful book! I only knew of Stephen King as a horror writer, so I was hesitant to start this story. I can't tell you how impressed I am! The writing is spectacular, clear and concise. Mr. King's portrayal of the time periods in this book are a joy to listen to. He must've done lots of research. The narrator's performance was flawless as well. I was sad when the story ended up but unlike so many other books I have read this ending did not disappoint. This book is a must read!
