Story
Harry Potter has never even heard of Hogwarts when the letters start dropping on the doormat at number four, Privet Drive. Addressed in green ink on yellowish parchment with a purple seal, they are swiftly confiscated by his grisly aunt and uncle. Then, on Harry's eleventh birthday, a great beetle-eyed giant of a man called Rubeus Hagrid bursts in with some astonishing news: Harry Potter is a wizard, and he has a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. An incredible adventure is about to begin!

not a fan of the voice actor

The narrator accentuates words in a way that makes all the characters sound like they are whining.

mostly ok

My biggest issue was with the narrator. She seemed to have an inability to pronounce words and it was just enough to be irritating. As always, I love LKH books...no issue there!

The development of the characters and their connections are beautifully woven and the depth of understanding of what could be if the Goddess and God and their Fey children walked amongst us and let their power be known...I love this series.

I very much enjoy these....but I wonder how much better they would be with a male voice for the make characters.
