Story
Best-selling author T. Davis Bunn is a master at weaving moving tales that refresh the spirit and warm the heart. In The Quilt an elderly woman with arthritic hands is struck by the powerful feeling that something in her life remains undone. Deciding that her final task will be to make one last quilt, she proceeds to sew every stitch in a spirit of prayer and thankfulness to God. And as she proceeds, the impact of her endeavor is felt not only in her family, but in her community as well.

I loved how Mary mentored these women. We can all learn from this beautiful story.

Story
Maisie Dobbs isn't just any young housemaid. Through her own natural intelligence - and the patronage of her benevolent employers - she works her way into college at Cambridge. After the War I and her service as a nurse, Maisie hangs out her shingle back at home: M. DOBBS, TRADE AND PERSONAL INVESTIGATIONS. But her very first assignment soon reveals a much deeper, darker web of secrets, which will force Maisie to revisit the horrors of the Great War and the love she left behind.

I loved the complex story with all the details. The characters are full of history and richness. Bits of revelations come throughout the story to delight the reader. Maisy has high moral character and a big heart. Well done.

Story
This book is written with the threefold goal of bringing all glory to Jesus Christ (Matthew 6:13), making disciples who may grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18), and using talents in good stewardship of what has been entrusted, to gain more talents besides (Matthew 25:14-30). After writing my second book, entitled Perfecting the Saints: Volume 2, Bible Study and Commentary on the Book of James, I decided to write another book to further the series.

The narration of this commentary made it painful to hear or follow. The content weak.
