So different from the TV series, yet enough intersections in characters and some events to be distracting at times. But it is a Hugo award winner, so it is worth the read. And the narrator's voices are not the greatest, but they are necessary and good enough for me.

And not just of late antiquity. Never fluff. Ideas and theses were clear. Kept my interest for all 30+ hours.

One of the most amazing works of history that I have ever read! Love that it was based on so many cultural artifacts from Russia

Such a disturbing work. Will change your opinion of Tolstoy forever, especially since he believed some this stuff about sex and marriage.

Dostoevsky presents us with a humane portrait of prison life. These are criminals, some of the worst kind, but they are human and have formed a community of their own.

Full of insights into the white working class, which is often forgotten in policy discussions and driving much of American politics today. Heart-warming, touching, well-written, and well-narrated by J.D. himself. Very disheartening to learn that J.D. turned from a Trump critic to one of Trump's minions even today.

This was an amazing both translation of Pushkins great poem and performance of it. I don't know Russian, but I do know the story and Falen's translation seem to really capture the emotions. And his verse was lovely to listen to, as was Corkhill's rendering.

Not a great selection of Kierkafaard. About an hour of Fear & Trembling , 5 minutes of Either/Or, and hours of Present Moment. I would preferred.more of the former two, less of the latter. A little preface explaining the selection might have been helpful.

this overview is by far the best of the 90-minute trilogy of Aristotle, Socrates, and this work.
