Story
Liz Danger is a ghostwriter, trapped in her old hometown for the summer. Good thing she has Vince Cooper, her recurring one-night stand living down by the river in his old diner car, making her feel happy and safe and normal until September when she’ll be leaving again, although she’s starting to wonder if she really wants to.

This is a great follow-up to Lavender’s Blue. I love this story. Bob and Jenny are a hoot. Looking forward to the rest of the story.

Listening to a book performance by Barbara Rosenblatt is always a delight. Especially for a new Harmony story by Jayne Castle. Otis is a great addition to the collection of dust bunnies. Recommended.

Marlie Keen was trying to lead a quiet, ordinary life. She thought the knowing - the clairvoyance that allowed her to witness crimes as they happened - had been destroyed in the nightmare of her past. Then one night it returned with a vengeance, and she desperately needed to find someone to make it stop.

This is one of my favorite Linda Howard stories that I have read often. The narrator's voice is soothing and the voices are well-differentiated.

I love to hear Barbara Rosenblat narrate anything but I especially like her narration of the interconnected stories of the Joneses, Harmony and the Arcane Society by Jayne Anne Krentz / Jane Castle / Amanda Quick. Another winner!

A talented painter in her early thirties, Samille Sweeney has achieved enviable success. Her work sells at an exclusive New York City gallery and her popularity is at an all-time high when she begins to experience lush, vivid dreams drenched in vibrant hues that influence her artwork. Story
It's no coincidence when Grace Elland finds a vodka bottle next to the lifeless body of her boss, motivational speaker Sprague Witherspoon. The bottle is a terrifying - and deliberate - reminder of the horrors of her past. Grace retreats to her hometown to regroup and tries to put everything she’s learned about positive thinking into practice - a process that is seriously challenged on the world’s worst blind date. Awkward doesn’t begin to describe her evening with venture-capitalist Julius Arkwright.
