Story
It was my father’s arrest that brought me here, although you could certainly say that I took the scenic route. Here is rehab, where Ben - the only son of a rich South Dublin banker - is piecing together the shattered remains of his life. Abruptly cut off, at the age of 27, from a life of heedless privilege, Ben flounders through a world of drugs and dead-end jobs, his self-esteem at rock bottom. Even his once-adoring girlfriend, Clio, is at the end of her tether. Then Ben runs into an old school friend who wants to cut him in on a scam.

Story
In 1973, Moll Gladney goes missing from the Tipperary hillside where she was born. Slowly, her parents - Paddy and Kit - begin to accept that she’s gone forever. But she returns, changed, and with a few surprises for her family and neighbours. Nothing is ever the same again for the Gladneys, who learn that fate cares little for duty, that life rarely conforms to expectation, that God can’t be relied upon to heed any prayer. A story of exile and return, of loss and discovery, of retreat from grief and the saving power of love.

A beautiful book written with such emotion and love of the land and nature .
Lots of twists and turns, beautifully crafted and intertwined story of love and forbidden love and squinting windows of rural Ireland , and yet a feel of community, of watching out for each other, enduring love.
The words, images dance on the pages, completely immersing one in this beautiful land of a small village in Tipperary

Story
Does nature really make us feel better? The 3-Day Effect takes a look at the science behind why being in the wild can make us happier, healthier, and more creative. Whether it’s rafting down Utah’s Green River, hiking in Utah’s wilderness, or walking through Rock Creek Park in Washington, DC, scientists are finding that the more exposure humans have to nature, the more we can benefit from reduced anxiety, enhanced creativity, and overall well-being.

Excellent , if a little long winded

Super research and results, but there was a lot of repetition and at times I wanted it to move more quickly
Nonetheless it was so lovely and uplifting, it be such
a great thing if the US government implemented these ideas for their own Veterans

It was beautifully narrated by Erin , loved her voice
Really brought Montauk to life a place in which I spent many summers
The historical aspect I really enjoyed
The story at times was a bit too cheesy for me , but none the less it was a lovely light summer read ❣️
