Story
What better gift can a man receive than a woman’s innocence? They’ve been together for a while now, and she’s ready to give her boyfriend her cherry. Candles and roses are great, but the best part of the night is that massive shaft splitting her tiny slit open for the first time.

Short and spicy
Reviewed: 02-05-23
This is a short little story about someone's first time. While I have some feelings about attaching the word "innocent" to the concept of virginity—as well as the concept in its entirety, the story doesn't actually spend that much time equating the two. It's more about her being awkward and then nervous and then nervous about being awkward.
There were a few other word choices and writing choices in the story that I wasn't a super fan of, but they were relatively minor, even for a short story.
But overall, I enjoy the spicy little story, especially with how much of her carefully laid out plan ends up getting ditched in the actual application.
The encounter was her-pleasure focused with an emphasis on the players involved being just regular people, which I enjoy.
The narration was great, but I've yet to hear a story performed by Adara Astin that I didn't enjoy listening to.

Story
It's been nearly two decades since I lost the love of my life and I'm still struggling to move on. My grief plays on a perpetual cycle, and every time I think I’m ready to move forward—bam—something new throws me back into the depths of it. The latest hit comes in the form of a movie being made about the inspiring life my fiancé lived. Things go from bad to worse when the actor cast to play him waltzes into my bar, begging me to help him with the role. “Help me become Tyler Taylor.”

Compelling premise, well executed
Reviewed: 01-20-23
If age gap and plus-size characters are your jam and the tough topics the story dips into aren't an instant no for you, I'd recommend this book. Great narration for complicated characters. The premise pulled me in. Well paced, giving the characters enough time to breathe without dragging out the emotional torture too long.

Story
Scar: I’m a mountain man looking to hunt animals, not women. So imagine my surprise when Marilyn falls right into my lap. She’s from California and this is her first time…in more ways than one. She’s got curves that’ll drive a man wild, but she’s too young for me. I’ll save her life though, because I’m a gentleman, but that’s it.

Kelsie Calloway consistently delivers exactly as advertised, and Cavell's narration is spot on for naughty scenes. (And the not-so-naughty scenes, but there isn't too much of that to be found here.) If any of the keywords in the title grab your attention, it's worth a quick and dirty listen.

Story
Finding out that your fiancé is cheating on you is rough, especially when you find out on the day of your wedding. I never thought I was the runaway bride type, but I guess I was wrong. When a snowstorm sends my car into a ditch and I start wandering through the woods in my wedding dress, I'm found by the only decent man I've ever met. Stone saves me and takes care of me in all the right ways.

I love these quickies from Kelsie Calloway. She gives you the basic premise on the cover, and the story delivers. And Cavell's narration is always great to listen to. She made a cheater fiance sound especially hateable.
If you like curvy girls, runaway brides, mountain men, or steamy shower sex that still manages to acknowledge its logistical difficulties, I'd recommend this one.

First off, I love listening to Eden Cavell narrate. She always does a great job with consistent voice differentiation, and her guy voice is distinctive enough to set it apart.
As for the story, it accomplishes what it sets out to do, get our pair together, very nicely. The only reason I didn’t go with 5 stars for the story was it had one of the tropes I’m not a huge fan of: engineered serendipity. Otherwise, perfect. I’m a sucker for second chance after a missed connection.

Story
Christine Baxter was having a helluva night. Her blind date had run out on her and the check. She had run into a mugger trying to steal her purse and succeeding. Finally, her beloved Beetle, Pinkie, had run out of gas on a deserted highway. Her only hope was a dimly lit club sign on the other side of a deep embankment riddled with trash. Apparently, her guardian angel had the night off. Gabriel Easton and Michael Westmoreland were best friends looking for that special woman to share their lives and their bed.

The Solutions With Angels

I loved this one. When it started, I'll admit I was hesitant because I thought it would go in a different direction. Way too many doms are written as abusive jerks, but these two are great. All the leads here are fantastic, and I love that Christine's dreadful night becomes an opportunity to work with two men who adore her in every way.
With a slight misunderstanding speed bump and some lovely revenge on a thoroughly and appropriately hateable ex-husband, it has enough drive and narrative to not just be about the naughty, fun times. (Not that it's a bad thing. I just get bored without a plot.)
As for the naughty fun, once it takes off and the clothes come off, it's hot AF.

Not my favorite male lead archetype, but fun
Reviewed: 08-09-21
I’m not a huge fan of uber rich boss/secretary set up, but still enjoyed the story overall because there was enough chemistry to put aside a personal preference.
A few things really recused it for me. I like the heroine, but I’m a sucker for curvy redheads. (My issue with boss/secretary rests mostly in the boss side of the equation.) She also had a fun personality. Their interactions were great. It was actually fun enough I would have stuck around for a slightly longer version. A scintillating narration also helped.

There were a few times this story veered into things close to racial fetishization, but not enough to make me put it down.
And I would listen to Adara Astin read a cereal box, so that was a big help.
But overall I liked the story and found the “serve to be served” theme intriguing.

Story
Pressed into the shadows, Ryan’s lips tight against mine, I have to convince myself that none of this is real. When he holds me tightly, I have to hide my trembling hands. When he kisses me along the tenderness of my neck, it takes all my strength not to moan. And when he undresses in front of me, I have to pretend I'm looking away so he doesn't see my cheeks flush red.

Fake it til you make it

I love me a good "this isn't a real relationship. oh no, it's a real relationship, now" story. And while I spent a significant amount of the book screaming, "just tell each other you love each other," it was worth the wait. I liked the mains and the supporting characters, or I at least liked to hate the ones I was meant to hate.
And while with a lot of romance, spoilers aren't an issue since the HEA is the point of the genre, there was one thing in the book that, while not outside the genre norms, was slightly unexpected. As soon as I realized it was happening, I went from "oh, no," but it shifted to an "oh, yay" by the end.
If you have intimate knowledge of how the US immigration system works, you'll need to turn off that part of your brain. But for narrative flow, it's required in a romance. Stacks of paperwork aren't particularly sexy to most of us. People might not stick around in a romance that went into the intricacies of applying for and receiving a K visa.
But this one was enjoyable, and I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys "Fake" relationship stories.
