Story
Harriet and Wyn have been the perfect couple since they met in college—they go together like salt and pepper, honey and tea, lobster and rolls. Except, now—for reasons they’re still not discussing—they don’t. They broke up five months ago. And still haven’t told their best friends.

Fair, and predictable

Predictable, definitely a story for women. I should have read more reviews and not relied on the NYT ratings

With more than 315,000 print copies sold, this is the story of the church for today’s listeners. Dr. Bruce Shelley makes church history come alive in this classic audiobook that has become not only the first choice of many laypeople and church leaders but the standard text in many college classrooms.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
the story is hard to follow as presented. maybe interesting for a novice but not if one has any understanding of church history. More bible story than intellectual
Would you ever listen to anything by Bruce L. Shelley again?
no
