Story
I'm Remi Drake, the king of Memphis nightlife. At under thirty, I own the hottest spots in town, and believe me, I enjoy every perk that comes with it. Echo is my sister's friend. She was the designated ugly fat friend (DUFF) in high school. Now, she's a cancer researcher with a PhD. She's no longer fat but curvy and sexy. Then there's that amazing brain of hers. Plus, she's always had a thing for me. One night, things get out of hand, and I pitch the idea of an acquaintance-with-benefits relationship: no strings, no promises, and most importantly, no one can ever know.

The narrating really got you into the characters. Always A+ with any of Maya’s books.

Story
This isn’t a story about a love triangle. There is no triangle involved. This isn’t a story about an accidental pregnancy. Although having a baby with her... I would. This isn’t a story about lies and deception, even though at times I’ve lied to myself. No, this is my story. A story about sacrifice. A story about a man who fell in love with the wrong girl. A story I wish I never had to tell. This is a story about the true meaning of the do

I wasn’t sure about this book since it was a 2 part series but I’m so glad that I did both. The 2nd book was so good on how their love grew.

Story
The quintessential question asked to every couple. And the answer is usually some bubbly, lovey dovey tale of being struck in the bum by Cupid’s arrow. My meet cute (well, not so meet cute) is slightly different. I was trolling a wealthy neighborhood in Beverly Hills, searching for someone to take me as their bride, you know, to make my arch nemesis jealous who consequently just fired me.

Love reading/listening to Meghan Quinn’s books. I like the story line of the brothers and the 2 sisters.

Story
Freshly fired from her third job in a row, Bonnie St. James has lost her way. So when she and her best friend stumble upon a “help wanted” post to run a coffee shop in the Scottish Highlands, they apply on a whim. Who knows? Maybe traveling to a new place is just what she needs to figure out her next move. When the friends arrive in the tiny idyllic town of Corsekelly, they instantly fall for the gorgeous Highland landscape and friendly townspeople. But Bonnie finds a less-than-warm welcome in Rowan MacGregor, the rugged local handyman.

I have read almost all of Meghan Quinn’s books and I would say this is definitely my least favorite. The character Bonnie is so irritating that I almost just stopped listening.
