Story
Charlie Nelson is just walking down the street, minding his own business, when he’s suddenly killed in a brutal drive-by shooting…or is he? When he finally forces his eyes open again, he’s lying in a hospital bed, and he can tell right away that something is very, very wrong. But nothing can prepare him for the shock of looking in a mirror, and seeing a gorgeous teenage girl staring back at him! It can’t be true, it just can’t! He’s a strong, virile man! He’s not a woman, doesn’t want to be a woman, doesn’t know the first thing about being a woman! Like it or not, though, he’s about to find out!

Very Interesting Take on Relationships
Reviewed: 12-22-18
The story was well written and thought out. A little uncomfortable at times thinking about the fact that these two characters were best friends since early childhood and had several sexual conquests of the same women. Now the tables have canted slightly and they find that the love they felt for each other as two heterosexual men can now be explored as a heterosexual couple.
The narration was perfect. Persephone Rose has increasingly gotten better with time. Very awesome.

Story
Thomas Pendleton loves his wife, Ann, and six-year-old son, Seth, more than anything, but his job often makes him an absent husband and father. One day, after Thomas leaves on a business trip, his wife and son are killed in a car accident. When a cosmic storm enters Earth's atmosphere, scientists are baffled by its composition and origins, but not nearly as much as they are by the storm's side effect: Anyone who has died and chosen not to cross over is suddenly visible.

If you could sum up The Tesla Gate in three words, what would they be?
Enjoy Your Time
What did you like best about this story?
It has, at it's heart, a story that has been told before, but the ideas and twists on how it gets there are totally original. Great story, many moving moments and characters that you genuinely care for. I cried at least four times in the first hour and a half of the audio book. How great would it be if you could have more time with those that you have lost? I would cherish the moments.
What does Jake Urry bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He makes you feel like a part of the family and not just an outsider watching things happen. His accents were great and I loved his Abe Lincoln voice, it is exactly how i imagine Abe sounded.
Who was the most memorable character of The Tesla Gate and why?
Seth. He was so precious and innocent but when his daddy needed him to be strong, he pulled it off.
