Story
Trauma nurse Aly Cappellucci doesn’t need any more kinks. She likes the one she’s landed on just fine. To her, nothing could top the masked men she follows online. Unless one of those men was shirtless, heavily tattooed, and waiting for her in her bedroom. She dreams about being hunted by one in particular, of him chasing her down and doing deliciously dark things to her willing body. She never could have guessed that by sending one drunken text, those dreams would become her new reality.

Josh as Batman voice

I enjoyed the audio and how Josh was with Fred the cat. It was bordering on insta love for me which isn’t a fave trope of mine but I did enjoy it.

Story
In this evocative account of navigating pregnancy loss, Jessica Zucker confronts the cultural silence around miscarriages and illuminates how she built a movement from her experience, transforming trauma into human connection. Drawing from her psychological expertise and her work as the creator of the #IHadaMiscarriage campaign, I Had a Miscarriage is a heart-wrenching, thought-provoking, and validating book about navigating these liminal spaces and the vitality of truth telling.

I loved this book! I decided to give it a read/listen in this case after my third miscarriage. I felt validated in how I was feeling and seen by a person I don’t know. Jessica wrote this book with so much feeling and I want to thank her for not only sharing her story but for letting me know it’s ok to grieve in whatever way.
