As someone who owns all of the rangers apprentice books, I have enjoyed all of the books. Sadly, this story seems to fall a little short than what I expected. It seems to contain more than a few pages that are nothing but filler. Well, I do enjoy the storylines and the method of writing this one just seemed to drag. And made me jump ahead in the story from time to time, just so I could move on to something that doesn't seem to just go go on and on, for no reason.

After the lady faire, I had hoped that this story would be as amazing as the the others. it was a lot of awful deus ex machina story lines mixture. an failure

this story of Edwin Drood was a big let down. it seems as if all the parts of the story were bloated. Not that it helped, all the parts just didn't seem to fit together. They seem to go in different directions. all and all it just fell flat.

This book start my great journey. it made me fall in love with Jim Butcher novels. James Marsters just seems to be the voice Harry Dresden. it all made this novel excellent.
