Story
This kaleidoscopic book covers almost 3,000 years of Arab history and shines a light on the footloose Arab peoples and tribes who conquered lands and disseminated their language and culture over vast distances. Tracing this process to the origins of the Arabic language, rather than the advent of Islam, Tim Mackintosh-Smith begins his narrative more than a thousand years before Muhammad and focuses on how Arabic, both spoken and written, has functioned as a vital source of shared cultural identity over the millennia.

A it-Islamic
Reviewed: 07-02-23
The tone and inflection of the reader as well as the text itself are anti-Islamic, and disrespectful to the Prophet Muhammad, SWT. I called a halt to listening after an hour. The reader portrays his own disrespect in tone and infection.

Story
Can you visualize today what it meant to cross America's Great Plains in the mid-19th century? It was a wondrous, perilous, often fatal journey without assurance of a successful life at the other end. Yet tens of thousands made the journey and lucky for us, many set aside modesty, often at the request of children or grandchildren, to put the account of their travels into words.

Story
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Candid and moving.

I am moved by this audiobook read by its author Prince Harry. I admire his upfront relaying of his life experiences character faults and strengths. He dared to live outside the ‘royal’ mold. His love and respect shine through his story. I pray that Harry, Meg and the children have A safe and meaningful life.
Being second, the spare, then disposed and destroyed is terrible. Looking to the future,One is left to wonder if William’s daughter and younger son will be as disposable.
Thank you Harry for sharing your autobiography and clearing the air.
