Greif - we all experience it in different ways...yet overall, it's much the same. This is a a wonderfully humanizing book to help you or your loved ones with the grief after the loss of a pet. I have found there are many resources for dealing with the loss of a loved one, but yet there are not as many resources for the loss, for most of us, of our best friend. Talking to and dealing with non-pet owners after this traumatic life event is sometimes difficult as they just don't "get it". I can assure you C. Jeffery Does.
This book is written with a compassionate heart and can really help as the author just gets it. One of the best parts was chapter 5: "Helping your family through the loss" as it's a difficult time for parents dealing with the loss of a pet AND then also trying to reassure and help your children through the loss. Kudos to the author for putting this in as I'm sure it will help even more people in the long run!
All in all I'm happy to recommend this book to friends and family and indeed other listeners on this platform.

This is a basic, no nonsense guide. It does exactly what it says on the tin. I enjoy Lou's work and have been following him for sometime. This is a book I'll happily recommend to the younger set, my 20-something nieces and nephews need this book in their lives...however, even us "old dogs" can use a little reminder now and then to keep things moving and on track. A+ overall. Highly recommended.

It's a book written with care and love. If you are a beginner (or even intermediate gardener) I think this book should be part of your growth strategy. We all need a little hand and this book is light-hearted, yet full of real science and practicable steps. There is enough information here to make sure you come out on top with your gardening plans, but it's punny style and ease will allow you to absorb it quickly without bogging you down with too much technical jargon. All in all I'm glad I found this book and would highly recommend to my friends and family.

For the new candle making entrepreneur this is THE essential guide to get you started! In fact, now that I'm thinking about it...I probably SHOULDN'T be leaving this book a review, because I'm helping to spread the word on this awesome book and I'm gonna have more competition! ha! No, but seriously, the author has done an awesome job and has really gone out of her way to really make things easy for the listener to implement these useful strategies. I'm simply blown away. I'm happy to recommend this to other fledgling business owners. A++ content for sure!

A Great Primer for the New Hunter

This Simple Hunting Guide is written for anyone who is curious to see what it takes to begin a lifetime journey into the hunting world. Seasoned hunters probably will find this too basic for their needs, but you never know - learning/understanding and "going back to the basics" is never a bad thing. I really enjoy hearing new and differing perspectives on my favourite hobby. The Author, Pat Gatz is a First Nation Algonquin with over twenty years experience, so he definitely knows his stuff. I believe this is the first outing for "Hunting for Greatness!", I greatly look forward to listening to the next instalments in this series which I believe will get more into depth on the topics outlined during this basic guide. A great primer or refresher for the beginner and even intermediate hunter alike! A+ work and I'll highly recommend it to friends and family.

Book three delivers the goods! I'm loving this series. I'm not ashamed to say that sometimes for sheer entertainment I enjoy a solidly written YA novel - and this one is masterfully written, excellently narrated and a joy to behold. It is the perfect continuation of the series (obviously). I hate giving plot spoilers in reviews, as I want everything to be as enjoyable for you the listener as it was to me the first time I heard it. Suffice to say - you're in for a few most excellent surprises and twists/turns. Excellent pacing, great world-building and an all around delight. I highly recommend this whether or not you've read/listened to the first 2 books in the series. (Although I highly recommend those as well!) Three cheers for "Reckoning of Delta Prime!

This is the book you need in your life! Great resource. Well put together, slow enough to hear the inflection and intonation needed to properly pronounce Cantonese words, but paced well enough so it is not stale and boring. I'm very happy with my purchase and will recommend this book to anyone looking to brush up on their Cantonese. "Learn Cantonese for Travel" is a great companion for the anxious traveller or someone even studying Cantonese in school! A! 5Stars!

Flipping houses when your dead broke, sounds like a dream come true, and it is..almost. It REALLY is possible. I and many other have done it. But it is also a lot of work, hassle, stress and "unknowns". Thankfully the author, Lou Vachon, has taken away much of that stress and hassle for you in this great book. I highly recommend this presentation as it really is a great beginner's strategy guide, especially if you've never done this before! I'm not going to give away any spoilers - just go get it. Thank me later.

It's exactly what it says on the label. I'm just here to tell you that it's a great listen, my kids love it. The jokes and riddles and things are clean, relatively funny (even for me), also a bit cheesy but that's the point - right? It's nice to be able to put something on and know that the kids are enjoying it and not being exposed to anything risque or rude or otherwise inappropriate. "Knock Knock Jokes for Kids 5-7 years old" might even work for a big of a wider age range say 4-10 but either way it's definitely a keeper.

Have no fear as this is a great guide and perfect pronunciation example. I'm a little bummed that it's so short - but it has you covered with all the basic vocabulary you need. From family and friends animals, everyday things to directions the weather and more! All in all an excellent learning resource for the beginning Mandarin learner like me! Leah Nelson and Yu Chi Su have created the perfect "pocket guide" to pronunciation. Fantastic addendum learning resource.
