Then she catches an emergency news announcement and realizes she was a fool to think she could ever leave her worst days behind her. Helena has a secret: she is the product of an abduction. Just…Bad.

I’m surprised nobody has complained about the massive cultural appropriation in this book. Seems like half of the book is co-opted Native American lore and language.
If there is such a thing as Trauma appropriation, that’s what makes up the other half. This is SUCH a violent book!!!!! No, I DON’T want to hear about how to butcher unborn Bambi, thank you very much!!!
A girl raised in such desperate, isolated and violent circumstances should elicit more sympathy from us as readers, but time and time again Helena is callous, clueless and incredibly stupid. I just wanted to quickly kill her father and then slap her across the face!
I can’t think of another audiobook where I’ve said “WHAT!?!” Out loud in exasperation so many times over the protagonists actions!!
The narration is fine, the story is not!!

Discovering this audio continuation of Orphan Black has been a great surprise!! I loved this show so much. Tatiana Maslany is incredible. I can see the new clone club members in my imagination as clearly as I saw all the original Sestras watching the show. Wonderful!!! Thank you.
