My mom raised puppies when I was young. I smiled thru this whole book remembering getting swarmed by puppies on a regular basis. You truly can’t be unhappy with puppies crawling all over you. The whole story was good and the narrators were easy to listen to.

This is a very inspiring story of a young Muslim man truly searching for who the real God and real prophet is. The insight he gives into the lives of everyday Muslims is very informative as enlightening. It is worth the read just for a better understanding of Muslims. I am a Christian struggling with similar questions and loved this book.

I had not heard of Don Stratton until he died and was to be buried in my home town of Red Cloud, NE. After hearing his story, I am proud to say I’m from the same little town. He chose not to have his ashes interred at the Arizona. He said he’d already been incinerated once, he didn’t want to do it again. Truly great story by a truly gallant man!

As a Methodist struggling with the current divisions in our denomination, I’m seeking guidance from John Wesley. Some of these sermons were enlightening, some hard to follow, and some convicting. The reader did a good job reading, but I found his voice a bit annoying. Overall worth the read.

I like the idea of the 3 days in nature healing the mind and soul. My husbands high blood pressure and stress levels were both lowered with a trip to the boundary waters of MI-Canada with our sons Boy Scout troop. Always de-stresses us!

Rifqa’s faith and story are a testament to God’s faithfulness and protection. I wish I could say my faith is half as strong, but know it is not. I am challenged to work on my relationship and use the freedom I have to help others. Excellent book. I didn’t want to put it down!

I don't really want to get involved in politics and believe myself to have some lingering prejudices but am mostly supportive of immigrants and their rights and plights. I don't feel like I push a white agenda but this book makes me realize that I am part of the race problem because I do benefit just from being white and not acting against the broken systems we have. We all need to get active against bad policies and stop allowing white privilege to oppress non-whites.

The narrator did an excellent job but I felt the tone of his voice was kind of angry. Maybe that is a what is needed, but i didn't like that the whole book was read with that tone.
