I've loved Jane Yellowrock from the very first book. This final chapter is wonderful - it pulls together a lot of the plot twists and includes the wide range of recurring characters. Listening for the second time now - Khristine Hvam's narration really adds to the enjoyment!

Faith Hunter's fans have been asking for a collection of some of her hard to find short stories, and here it is! None of them disappoint. Great insight into some of the supporting characters. The very best part is that Faith gives a brief intro to each story.

Nell continues to evolve as a force of nature and to define herself. Her family and work relationships add interest to the plot. I'm actually starting to like Ayatas Firewind, which is an excellent example of how well Faith Hunter controls her storytelling/plot renderings/character development! The evil in this one is complicated by the number of bodies and attacks on the land. Khristine Hvam gives another wonderful performance. The major defect to the book is that I finished it and want another!

This is mid-series of the Dresden Files, but it is absolutely my favorite. It will be hard for Butcher to ever surpass fighting zombies, necromancers, and evil wizards while riding a reanimated Tyrannosaurus Rex. As always, James Marsters brings it vividly to life.

This is a continuation of the Jane Yellowrock series and my favorite so far. The characters continue to develop, their world continues to evolve, and the action is non-stop. It would probably work as a stand alone, but I really recommend the whole series. This is book 13 - and there will be at least one more.

The story and narration are both excellent! Wonderful characters, villains, and plot development by Faith Hunter - and wonderfully brought to life by Kristine Hvam. If we could just get Ms. Hvam to go back to pronouncing the little green grindylow's name as Pea instead of Pia, it would be perfect!
