Story
A true musical polymath, Beck shifts between and blends genres and generations with a preternatural ease—one foot in the secret history of American music and the other moving toward the future. Consistently brushed off by industry gatekeepers on both coasts, Beck perseveres—ultimately building a bespoke audience of millions who share his borderless musical vision. In Dear Life, Beck proves that the most powerful art is made by those who are brave enough to be fully themselves.

Finding A Voice Amid Adversity

Great storyteller, honest, level headed, and more importantly, humble; a quality that is hard to have in today's self centered age. If someone is looking for an account of a struggling artist who continally fails, is criticized, labeled, dismissed, but keeps plowing ahead then this is the guy you need to listen to.

A Very Helpful Tool
Reviewed: 06-10-22
Matt Hutchinson has brilliantly (and I am sure painstakingly) recorded the rhythm, lead, and even a jam track on guitar for many standard fiddle tunes that any jack can pick up and learn! And if you are a slow learner like me you can slow down the rate of every note using the feature in Audible. Lots of fun, expand your bluegrass "tone poems"! Thanks again, Matt! Cheers

Story
St. Philaret of Moscow is the Russian Chrysostom. His mouth overflowed from a heart enlarged and illumined by the Holy Spirit, and his teaching has been a fountain of life to the Christian generations that have succeeded the great bishop. Here, for the first time in an English-language translation, we have a thematic collection of his sermons dedicated to living the Christian life. This audiobook contains a feast of faith and soul guidance that, if followed, will bring forth abundant spiritual treasure.

Wonderfully translated and powerfully delivered! The introduction alone is enough to bring you towards the threshold of this divinely inspired man. However, since the material that is covered is so rich and soul-provoking, I recommend adjusting the speed of reading in your settings. (I would do the same for the latest Jordan Peterson, as well.:)
