Would you consider the audio edition of Haunting Suspicions to be better than the print version?

Yes! Something about hearing the story, as opposed to creating it all on my own is so invigorating. The narration totally elevates the story, and creates even more vivid pictures in my head.

What other book might you compare Haunting Suspicions to and why?

I couldn't help but think about True Blood the whole time...with the shape shifting, and all the intense erotic and romantic situations. I suppose this would mean the books that he True Blood series is based on... but you get my drift. Sexy shape shifters and full moons... all the good things.

Which character – as performed by Aria Abienta – was your favorite?

I love the character of Orlena... such a mysterious and enticing character. I love the sultry depth of her voice. The narration is easily one of my favorite parts of the book.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It got me all hot and bothered...tbh. I wanted Alden for myself! Every description of him made me hope he would somehow appear in my living room with his "not a cowboy" swagger, and his effortlessly perfect hair... and abs.

Another great find... Love Kate Richards' inventive and erotic writing, and my new favorite narrator - Aria Abienta.

Enticing Story of Sexy Co-Eds, Lust and Love

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Absolutely! This has by far been one of my favorite books in this genre... I loved the back and forth meeting of the minds... and bodies... between the main character, River and Jonathan - the oh-so-delectable and emotionally unavailable scholar chosen to be her "mentor". I also found River's story so engaging - coming from such a conservative background to discovering a whole new side of herself, and reveling in it.

What did you like best about this story?

I was so intrigued by the idea of this secret society these people created where only the most attractive, and smart people are paired with their equals in an effort to create not only intense sexual situations, but also a layer of networking. I had some sexy experiences back in my college days, but none as enticing as this...or as well-paid for that matter! :)

What about Aria Abienta’s performance did you like?

Her voice is like laying in freshly-washed, 1500 count, Egyptian cotton sheets... Every word, every sigh... the way she describes each detail of the story elevated the already great writing. I listened to the entire book, and was actually sad when it ended... Aria is like the sexiest, gentle guide taking you on a journey of self-discovery and lust in this book.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I did have to break it up due to the length, but every time I had to walk away, I couldn't wait to come back to it and see what happened next.

I thought it was extremely well written, and I loved the narrator. I can't wait to download other books by Aria Abienta... So excited to have discovered her. And bravo to Kelly Collins for keeping me entertained for 8+ hours with such riveting characters and an exciting story!
