Very deep insights. Mike understood the nature of reality...

Our beliefs are the truth... for us... Let's choose the good ones...

In summary, the world is a bunch of stories we created to make sense of life. We know that WHAT WE THINK, IS WHAT IS, & WHAT WE BELIEVE IS WHAT IS. Everybody who believes something is right. Christians are right, Buddhists are right, Muslims right, new age folks are right... why?

Because, what we believe is what is. Everyone of them created a set of values and stories and concept of divinity to make sense of life and create communities. It worked. and they are all correct.

So whether those stories are right or not is irrelevant, they are all the truth. How come? because, the deeper truth is, what we believe, either individually or as collective consciousness is WHAT IS. in short, we create our own reality, both as individuals, and collective humanity.

That said, ideologies including religions are also the truth, not because, some being somewhere up there spoke to a prophet, but it 's because some highly evolved being (and many of us are including Mike), understood this reality one way or another, and they came up with a story and a set of values that will help humans live as a community and trust each other and carry out the business of life ...all to guarantee the survival of our race.

That's how religions came about. What we call religion is simply an ideology. However religions that survived and thrived (so far, which is a very short span of human history) were more ingenious and understood very well human psychology. I think the original founders (i-e what we call prophets) are highly evolved being like many of us are, and had very good and noble intentions. However, human nature loves power, so, many people took advantage of these ideologies and tweaked them to have power over the people. So, they used "FEAR" of an unseen power that can never be validated.... to keep people stuck generation to generation ... then they used missionary work and wars to expand.... There were many other ideologies that did not become "religions" and did not last such a long time, simply because their founders did not tie them to an unseen God that rewards and punishes, especially in the afterlife, which can never be proven.,. that was pretty smart to be honest :) other ideologies that did not last, were not made elaborate enough to constitute "a philosophy of life and a how to live life type of thing" and MOST IMPORTANTLY, they did not survive like the monotheist religions because they did not inject the factor of "fear" of an unseen being which can never be validated. Religions that survived and thrived are those who used FEAR and balanced it intelligently with the very good values of love and overall goodness etc. Nothing wrong with that. They served their purpose at some point in humanity's history. But they are not absolute, and the God they depict is invented (like everything else in life anyway). It does not mean that they are wrong. because whatever we create and believe in, is indeed the truth for us.

When a Buddhist man dies, he will not meet a Christian God and will be like "damn it, the real God is Christian, my God was not the truth, I should have known better". No, They will just continue as they believe..an extension of their current consciousness. A Muslim man when they die, they will not meet a Jewish God, and will be like "oh no, they misled me, my Allah was not the real God..", no, they will just find what they believe. WHAT WE BELIEVE IS THE TRUTH FOR US. AS SIMPLE AS THAT. SO CHOOSE WISELY. AND IF NONE OF THE EXISTING PHYLOSOPHIES/IDEAOLOGIES/RELIGIONS WORK FOR YOU, CREATE A GOOD ONE YOURSELF BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL CREATED ANYWAY.

HERE IS THE KEY: The problem is that people don't know that they can create a more beautiful wholesome FEAR-FREE and HELL-FREE and more EMPOWERING set of beliefs and STORIES. Stories are created, so just keep or create the good ones and ignore the bloody ones. You can even create a God that loves you and protects you and is in you and empowers you etc now in this life and beyond. and as you create this amazing view of divinity, repeat it, practice and believe it, it is the truth for you. AGAIN, REMEMBER THAT WHAT WE BELIEVE IN IS WHAT IS, SO CHOOSE THE RIGHT BELIEFS, THE RIGHT THOUGHTS, THE MORE EMPOWERING LOVING CONCEPT OF DIVINTY THAT WORKS FOR YOU, THE MORE EMPOWERING BEAUTIFUL CONCEPT OF AFTER LIFE and HEAVEN THAT WORKS FOR YOU. DON'T THINK ABOUT HELL STUFF, BECAUSE AS YOU BELIVE IT, IT IS SO. JUST BELIEVE IN THE MOST BENEVOLANT CONCEPT OF DIVINTY. PERIOD. Read the book, and you will understand this better.

I was looking for something extra beyond what’s in the Secret and the Power. Same thing! If you have already read these books, this one would be a rehash. If you haven’t, it’s a good one! The Secret or the Power are better if you want more

I would give this 10 stars if I could. This one supplements the Secret...but it's deeper. I think the knowledge in this book is the essence of it all. Rhonda is a spiritual genius, she was able to cut through the noise and get to the essence that is very hard to explain even by religions... Understanding what she calls the greatest secret needs willingness to understand...It may not be obvious to many readers as she included a number of other concepts from her other books. It's also DEEPER. It will take PRACTICE of the concepts to truly understand the life changing depth of this secret (that's essentially a secret in plain sight)... I started understanding some of the key concepts about a year ago and this book confirmed them and laid them out in a clear & simple manner... essentially, the greatest secret is that:

1- we are pure awareness (i-e we are divine) and what stand between us and experiencing this awareness is identification with the body and most the mind (negativity and unnecessary thoughts, which originate in what we call "the voice in our head" or the "mind")
2- The rest of the book explains how this "voice in our head" that we confuse for ourselves interferes in many different forms (including constant shatter, limiting beliefs...etc) and causes a lot of unnecessary suffering.

People can understand the greatest secret theoretically ...I think all of us can get it... but will understand the life-chnaging depth of this concept only if they practice being aware of the presence, and being aware of this voice and catch it as it rears its head often in sneaky ways.

I got introduced to the concept of "the voice in our head" in Michael Singer's book Untethered Soul which was also a game changer for me. I read all Rhonda's books and I read 100s of books in personal development, spirituality, etc and I can say that Ronda's books in this order, the Secret, the Magic (gratitude) and the Greatest Secret in addition to the Untethered Soul are the top 4 books that changed my life in ways I couldn't even imagine 10 years ago. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

So good! I got this for my 11 year old niece but it turned out to be one of the best I ever read in this genre... law of attraction practical lessons and nuances stick much better with stories... and I read a lot about LoA and spirituality etc... very uplifting too... made me smile ... quickly purchase Sara 2. Audible is much better than the book... the voices and music are great. The voice could be better :) ... still excellent!

Best book in this genre of personal growth I have ever read ... and I read a lot ... I felt so much freedom after only reading the first few chapters that I sat there and wept ... tears of joy! The voice in our head running our lives, that we mistake for ourselves ... wow... We know this stuff... the message has been there all along... religions preach it ... philosophers talk about it... but he was able to so simply and masterfully deliver it that it instantly struck the right cord! Micheal singer’s message is at the core of it all ...if we can absorb his message fully, life will be like heaven on earth! Thank Michael 🙏🏻

Probably useful to get motivated about what's possible. You learn some nuggets in terms of OVERCOMING MIND RESISTANCE … how? just do it …. The guy has been CONDITIONING HIMSELF TO INCREASE HIS PAIN THRESHOLD SINCE HE WAS A KID... He does NOT OFFER ANY STRATEGY. just RAW SHEER FORCE & DETERMINATION. It's great. It MOTIVATES to listen to him. you start thinking about the possibilities...it goes something like this: you have a very bad knee and bleeding and about to pass out and you still continue run …. this is not for everyone. you must have spent years accustoming your body to pain....You wont learn any actionable techniques or strategy you can use. to summarize the book: USE YOUR MIND to WORK FOR YOU rather than AGAINST YOU by DOING THE THINGS YOUR FEAR and when your mind tells you can't, ignore, there is still plenty of fuel in the tank (so far it's good)...TORTURE AND PUSH YOURSELF USING SHEER DETERMINATION AND RAW FORCE UNTIL YOUR PAIN THRESHOLD IS HIGH ENOUGH FOR CHALLENGES AND SUFFERING TO BECOME ENJOYABLE. it's good, but I think one needs to learn some strategies to achieve the same and more without exposing himself to unnecessary pain and maybe irreversible damage ...

Wasted a lot of time to just understand the key idea and how achieve them... The theory and the experiments and life stories could have been summarized in 2 hours... Ok i get it...I get how great your technique is. . Now just guide me through the technique. It also felt that he was promoting his workshops A LOT. You wont get much out of it ... he was indirectly saying:” come to my workshops and I will show you how to practice this stuff & learn to experience the miracles my students experiences in their lives”... !

I internalized some of its ideas and applied them... they worked... but forgot the book... and only now I am realizing how valuable the guidance is!!! I also understand the book much better now as gain experience with manifesting using imagination... no amount of words will help as much as practice... worth listening to this book at least twice a month!

A good introduction. But the examples and stories in the book make all the difference. I listened to the full book and loved it. Helped put things in perspective and felt a sense of freedom. I purchased the summary so that I can quickly get a reminder in 30 mns when I need it without having to listen to the whole thing ... but it didn't t do the job. It provided a good practical and factual summary though.
