Story
The Nondual Universe is a deep dive into the actual "experience" of enlightenment or whole-mindedness, the same experience saints and sages from every world religion, or no religion, have enjoyed. In this book, James F. Twyman offers a series of short, concise teachings meant to crack open the door that separates you from your fully awakened self, into the experience of "truth that has always been true". Once this door opens and you are able to see what has always been seen, it will never close again.

All of us are I AM
Reviewed: 01-23-24
I get the message to the intellectual level but as stated in the book by the author, that only takes you so far. I'm still missing something because the furthest part I can get to is the recital of "I AM" and intellectual understanding that the ego is made up, out physical reality is just an egoistic conglomerate of mutual assumptions and aggreeances by our egos and none of it is out true reality. But my ego still fights me daily. Onward to the next book and podcast that hopefully fills my cup further.

Too many leaps unsupported
Reviewed: 10-02-23
A few large premises in this book are ideological and unsupported. 1, that humans more largely evolved from high sugar diets with fruit. That's preposterous as supported by archeology and biology. Humans are omnivores and are most auccefull health wise eating so. Being vegan/vegetarian is not the future nor is it our past that forwarded us as a species. Second, that we are better natured towards Bonobos. Again, ridiculous. we are closely associated to both Chimps and Bonobos respective to each our own evolutions but it is purely your fantasy to better associate us as Bonobos striving to evolve towards a matriarchal led, polygamous non violent utopia. Not real.
Psychedelics made us jump in evolution, we were at one point a polygamous society due to trying to breed wider and further but it's not our social ideal and we are biologically discordant with being vegan/vegetarian. Biology does matter even if we are the universe experiencing itself. Learn some nuance please.
