Love Phil Collins

Really enjoyed this book. I always liked Phil Collins and have fond memories of attending his concert as a 17 year old. Collins earned his success through pure hard work. He always maintained high standards and put out a quality product. I would love to hear Collins play and/or sing again.

Story
Hillbilly Elegy is a passionate and personal analysis of a culture in crisis - that of white working-class Americans. The decline of this group, a demographic of our country that has been slowly disintegrating over 40 years, has been reported on with growing frequency and alarm but has never before been written about as searingly from the inside. J. D. Vance tells the true story of what a social, regional, and class decline feels like when you were born with it hung around your neck.

Great book! I highly recommend this book. Very well defined definition of the causes of society breakdown and possible fixes. Many may scoff, but the author gives good reasoning to why family and faith can save society not government intervention.
