I'm already downloading the next book. Storyline is very interesting and the narrator is superb. I just want to listen to Steven Brand. He would make the bible soooooo sound......delicious.

Interesting but flawed

The storyline had potential but it was....lacking something. I won't be reading the next story because it seems the same enemy returns in the next book. I was hoping T had a small romantic storyline.
The narrator for the story did not give the story any value added. The narrator deserves 1 star for delivery.

Mankind has lorded over the land of Illian for a thousand years, building on the ruins left by the elves, as if it were their birthright. A thousand years is a long time for an immortal race to see the truth of things, a truth that has remained unsaid for a millennium - elves are superior. They are faster, stronger, and connected to the magical realm in a way that man could never grasp. Illian should belong to them.

The most memorable moment always involves Anders. Anders' character is very smart, wise, intelligent, and he has a great sense of humor. all of the other characters are wonderful.
Im deeply saddened on one lose though...actually two losses. One the series ended. There has to be more books coming. Two, I wont say because I dont want to be a spoiler. lets just say it what Im referriing to is very sad.
The entire series is very good. The reader if the book awesome. love his accents and the ability to make characters distinguished.
This is a must read fir lovers of grimdark fantasy.

NASA doesn't even bother to deny the alien ships' existence. The popular Astral space app (broadcasting from the far side of the moon and accessible by anyone with Internet) has already shown the populace what is coming.
