Lauren Bacall had it all, but her memoir was all about death! I had a difficult time listening to her memoir, all she talked about was people dying around her, and her love for Adlai Stevenson! When it starts getting political, I have a hard time liking a book!

I just finished listening to your great story about your Dad! I loved every minute of it! I think what I liked the best, is that even though he had more children, he always managed to find special time with you, traveling to visit you, I never had that with my Dad! I lived it many years ago when I worked in the Garment Center, but I was a nice Jewish girl from Long Island, and my parents were only a Long Island Rail Road away! Buying now Single State of Mind maybe I will learn something, I am single at 73 now living in Fort Myers! It is hard to start over, just ask me!!!

I started to listen to Goodnin bed on 5/15/20, it captured me, I listened every free moment! I finished on 5/17/20! If I hadn't joined audible it would have taken me years to finish! Being a single Jewish Mom I could relate to everything! The book was great ,and the narrator Laura Hicks was superb! I am starting another book Big Summer next and then all of Jennifer Weiner's books after!
