Great story and narration

I loved reading and listening to this book. The dual narrators did an amazing job bringing the storyline to life. Great end to a fascinating trilogy about the werewolves and hunters of the Magiford world K.M. Shea has created.

Story
Sherwood Smith's most popular young adult fantasy begins with Meliara and her brother vowing to free Remalna from an evil king. War is tougher than it seemed. When Meliara is caught by the enemy commander, the elegant Marquis of Shevraeth, it's escape or die. Afterward, Meliara faces a tougher challenge: the battlefield is no longer mud and steel, but palaces, the weapons manners and fans. Toughest of all is courtship, when the one who catches her heart is her personal enemy—the new king. This beloved romantic fantasy has been in continuous print for over twenty years.

Childhood favorite excellently performed

This book is a great favorite of mine. I loved hearing the story come to like through audio. Shevraeth’s drawl was wonderful to hear and even better than I had imagined. I loved the inserts from his point of view at the end. The narrator did an excellent job with distinct voices for the many characters. The two stories are imaginative and the world of Remalna quite a fun place. If you’re looking for a creative fantasy story that can be enjoyed by the whole family I highly recommend this one!

Story
Farrendel Laesornysh, the younger elf prince of Tarenhiel, has become the elves' foremost warrior, thanks to his deadly magic. He is no stranger to death. But when the humans propose a marriage alliance during a diplomatic meeting, he is desperate enough to avoid more killing to agree. Even if an elf should never trust a human bargain. The human princess is probably a spy. Or an assassin sent to kill him on his wedding night. Yet if he can make this marriage work, as his grandmother seems to think, it might be the first breath of hope Farrendel has had in over a decade.

Great book from Farrendel’s perspective

I’ve loved listening to Elf Prince. It is wonderful to have Ferrendel’s perspective of the events from Fierce Heart. I love the world building and the story.
I loved how the narrator uses voices to differentiate between thoughts and spoken dialogue from the characters. That’s sometimes difficult to catch, but she did a great job so you’re never wondering if it was a thought or spoken words.
