It’s the last day of the school year in 1994, and for 15-year-old Chris, it’s going to be another boring summer of staying at his aunt’s farm in southern Illinois. At least until he, along with his brother Brian and cousin Sam, meets the hermit. What follows is a summer of intrigue, suspicion, and fear that has lasting consequences. One thing is for certain–things aren’t always what they seem.
